"Ignite the Night" - Family Winter Fun NightDates: Friday February 06, 2009 to Friday February 06, 2009

Enjoy the great Canadian winter and get physically active with your family on Friday, February 6th, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Tyendinaga Township Recreation Complex located at 363 McFarlane Road. Ignite!, your local physical activity network, is hosting the 4th annual nighttime family walk! Free glow sticks for the children, healthy snacks and an opportunity to win an awesome prize pack! The Ignite! Physical Activity Cruiser (IPAC) will also be on-site to offer various games and is packed full of different types of sports equipment. There will also be many different activity stations set up for the family to participate in, such as snowshoes, cross country skis, Snow Snake, snow sculptures, and much more. Warm up beside the toasty fire and enjoy some free hot chocolate! This event is being co-hosted by the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte and the Township of Tyendinaga Recreation Departments. Casino Bus TripDates: Thursday February 26, 2009 to Thursday February 26, 2009

Location: Gananoque Casino
Join us for a bus trip to the Gananoque Casino on Thursday, February 26, 2009. The cost is $10 a person. This includes transportation, a free lunch voucher and $10 worth of playing coupons. The bus will pick up at the Recreation Hall at 12 noon and then stop for a pick up in Deseronto at the Fire Hall at 12:20 p.m. and return by 6:00 pm. You must have a valid photo I.D. (Health Card not accepted). We require your name and phone number by Friday, February 20, 2009. This trip is tentative based on the number of people interested in attending.
